Optimised shelving crates

With this new development from packit!, material and costs have been saved while fully satisfying all customer requirements at the same time. The highlight of this new shelving crate is the lid, known as the “Flying Edge”: it protects the goods during storage and shipping.

Stacking supports are created when the lid is inserted and lying flat. There are recesses at the bottom of the crate in which the lid can be firmly fixed. The resulting construction ensures sturdy stacking of the “Flying Edge” crates. The material and consequently the costs have also been optimised, since no gluing of the lid is necessary.

All corners and edges of the crate are also covered and glued in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Such a good concept must be protected, therefore packit! has already patented the design.

The lid has it all: adhesive-free, it only needs to be inserted into the crate, protects the goods and ensures sturdy stacking.
